By using Pressay, you agree to these terms.
The service
Pressay provides voice input on macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android: it turns the speech and text you hand to it into text you can use directly. Recognition and refinement run in the cloud, so a network connection is required.
Accounts
An account is identified by an email address and signed in with a one-time code, Google, or Apple. You are responsible for actions taken through your email address. If you find that someone else is using your account, contact us as soon as possible.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Pressay:
- For any purpose that breaks the laws or regulations where you are
- To record other people’s conversations without their consent
- To circumvent allowance limits, reverse-engineer the service, or interfere with its normal operation
- To make automated, high-volume requests beyond normal personal use
Your content
What you say and write remains yours. We claim no rights over it and do not use it to train models. To provide the service, you grant us permission to use it only to the extent necessary to process the current request; that permission ends when the request ends.
Plans and allowances
Free includes 50,000 words per week. In Global, Pro is an automatically renewing subscription through Stripe. The purchase page shows the total monthly or annual price including tax. One-time purchases are unavailable. When billing launches, beta Pro claims and previously claimed beta access end.
Subscriptions and refunds
Manage or cancel renewal in Billing. Period changes and cancellations take effect at the next period boundary; the paid period stays unchanged. Failed renewal does not extend paid access. Deleting your account immediately ends service and future billing without an automatic refund.
Except for the cases below or where required by applicable law, we do not offer a general no-questions-asked refund or automatically refund cancellations or unused time. If special circumstances or legal requirements cause us to stop providing service before a prepaid fixed term ends, we refund the prepaid amount for the unfulfilled portion. If we verify that the same amount due was charged more than once, we refund the duplicate charges. Mandatory consumer rights remain protected. See the refund policy.
Changes and interruptions
We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. We give notice of material changes in advance. The service depends on third-party providers and may be interrupted unpredictably.

Pressay is provided “as is”. Speech recognition and text rewriting make mistakes; check the result yourself before relying on it for anything important. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss arising from the use of, or the inability to use, this service.
